In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Recite: In the Name of thy Lord who created, 1 Createth man from a clot. 2 Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous, 3 Who taught by the pen - 4 taught the human what he did not know. 5 Nay, but man doth transgress all bounds, 6 For he thinks he is sufficient in himself. 7 truly, all will return to your Lord. 8 What is your opinion – regarding him who forbids – 9 a servant of Ours from prayer? 10 Tell me, if he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) is on the guidance (of Allah)? 11 Or enjoined guarding (against evil)? 12 Hast thou considered whether he may [not] be giving the lie to the truth and turning his back [upon it]? 13 Knoweth he not that Allah doth see? 14 Indeed, if he does not desist, We will seize him by the forelock, 15 a lying, sinful forelock. 16 and then let him summon [to his aid] the counsels of his own [spurious] wisdom, 17 We will call the angels of Hell. 18 No, indeed; do not obey him! Prostrate and come nearer (to Allah). ۩ 19
