The Elephant (Al-Feel)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), did you not see how did your Lord deal with the People of the Elephant? 1 Did He not utterly confound their artful planning? 2 Thus, He let loose upon them great swarms of flying creatures 3 Which hit them with stones of baked clay, 4 Then did He make them like an empty field of stalks and straw, (of which the corn) has been eaten up. 5
