And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine]. [See the "Book of History" by Ibn Kathir]. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
