Qaaf 3 of 3
Upon the day We shall say unto Gehenna, 'Art thou filled?' And it shall say, 'Are there any more to come?' 30 And the garden shall be brought near to those who guard (against evil), not far off: 31 "This is what you had been promised," (will be said) to every penitent who remembered (his duty), 32 Who feareth the Beneficent in secret and cometh with a contrite heart. 33 "Enter ye therein in Peace and Security; this is a Day of Eternal Life!" 34 There will be for them therein all that they wish,- and more besides in Our Presence. 35 How many generations, stronger in might than they have We destroyed before them! They searched the land, could they find any asylum? 36 There is truly a reminder in this for whoever has a heart, whoever listens attentively. 37 And indeed We created the heavens and the earth and all between them in six Days and nothing of fatigue touched Us. 38 So bear with patience what they say, and glorify your Lord with His praise, before the rising and before the setting of the sun; 39 And say His Purity during the night, and after the customary prayers. 40 And listen attentively on the day when an announcer will proclaim from a place nearby. 41 The day when they will hear the (Awful) Cry in truth. That is the day of coming forth (from the graves). 42 Verily, We it is Who give life and cause death; and to Us is the final return, 43 On the day when the earth splitteth asunder from them, hastening forth (they come). That is a gathering easy for Us (to make). 44 We are cognisant of what they say; but it is not for you to compel them. So keep on reminding through the Qur'an whoever fears My warning. 45

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
