▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I call the placement of the stars to witness -- 75 And verily, that is indeed a great oath, if you but know. 76 that this is an honorable Quran 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 no one can touch it except the purified ones. 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Do you then hold this announcement in contempt? 81 And to give (it) the lie you make your means of subsistence. 82 Why, then, when [the last breath] comes up to the throat [of a dying man,] 83 and you are watching at that time 84 We are closer to him than you, even though you cannot see? 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 Cause ye it not to return, if ye say sooth? 87 So if he is one of those who are near-stationed (to Allah), 88 For him shall be comfort, and fragrance and a Garden of Delight. 89 and if he be a Companion of the Right: 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 And if he be of those who treat (Truth) as Falsehood, who go wrong, 92 Then [for him is] accommodation of scalding water 93 and the heat of a blazing fire! 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 Therefore glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 96
God the Almighty always says the truth.
