Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Those who disbelieve from among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and among Al-Mushrikun, were not going to leave (their disbelief) until there came to them clear evidence. 1 An Apostle from God, reading out hallowed pages 2 in which there are valuable Books. 3 And those who were given the Book did not become divided except after clear evidence had come to them. 4 They were commanded only to worship God, offering Him sincere devotion, to be sincere in their faith, to pray regularly; and to give alms, for that is the right religion. 5 Verily, those who [despite all evidence] are bent on denying the truth - [be they] from among the followers of earlier revelation or from among those who ascribe divinity to aught beside God - will find themselves in the fire of hell, therein to abide: they are the worst of all creatures. 6 But those that believe and work righteous deeds, they are the best of creatures. 7 Their reward with their Lord is 'Adn (Eden) Paradise (Gardens of Eternity), underneath which rivers flow, they will abide therein forever, Allah Well-Pleased with them, and they with Him. That is for him who fears his Lord. 8
