And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
