Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
I CALL TO WITNESS those who are sent consecutively, 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 Then by oath of those that lift and carry. 3 then winnow them thoroughly, 4 And by the angels that bring the revelations to the Messengers, 5 To cut off all excuses or to warn; 6 BEHOLD, all that you are told to expect will surely come to pass. 7 Then the stars will lose their light. 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 The mountains reduced to dust and blown away, 10 And when the apostles are gathered at their appointed time 11 For what day has the term [of all this] been set? 12 one will be told, "To the Day of Distinction". 13 Would that you knew about the Day of Judgment! 14 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the earlier people? 16 We will now cause the later ones to follow them: 17 Thus do We deal with the sinful ones. 18 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 19 Did We not create you out of a humble fluid 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 For a known term? 22 So We did measure, and We are the Best to measure (the things). 23 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 24 Made We not the earth to be a housing 25 For the living and the dead. 26 And made therein lofty mountains, and given you to drink of sweet water? 27 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 28 GO ON towards that [resurrection] which you were wont to call a lie! 29 “Move towards the shadow of the smoke having three branches.” 30 “Which neither gives shade, nor saves from the flame.” 31 "Indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as Forts, 32 Seeming like yellow camels. 33 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 34 This is the day on which they shall not speak, 35 Nor given leave to make excuses. 36 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 37 This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples. 38 So if you have a plan, then plan against Me. 39 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 40
