Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Rivalry in worldly increase distracteth you 1 Until you confronted the graves. 2 You shall know. 3 Nay, but ye will come to know! 4 Nay! if you had known with a certain knowledge, 5 Indeed you will see hell. 6 Again, indeed you will see it with certainty. 7 Then on that Day you shall be questioned about your worldly favours. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
