Man is prone to say: "Shall I be raised to life after I die?" 66 But does not man call to mind that We created him before out of nothing? 67 By your Lord, We will gather them and the satans, and We shall parade them hobbling on their knees in Gehenna: 68 Then We shall carry off from every group those who were most stubborn in their opposition to the Gracious One, 69 We surely know best those most deserving of the fires of hell, 70 It is the inevitable decree of your Lord that every one of you will be taken to hell. 71 Then We shall deliver those who have feared, and shall have the wrong-doers therein kneeling. 72 And when Our clear verses are recited to them, the disbelievers say to the Muslims, “Which group has a better home, and a better alliance?” 73 And how many a generation have We destroyed before these, who were goodlier in goods and outward appearance? 74 Say: 'Whosoever is in error, let the Most Merciful prolong his life span until they see that which they were threatened, be it a punishment, or the Hour. Then shall they know whose is the worst place and who is weaker in hosts' 75 And God shall increase those who were guided in guidance; and the abiding things, the deeds of righteousness, are better with thy Lord in reward, and better in return 76 Have you seen him who rejected Our signs and said: "Surely I shall continue to be favoured with riches and children." 77 Has he obtained knowledge of the Unseen, or has he taken a covenant with the Most Compassionate Lord? 78 By no means! We write down what he says, and We will lengthen to him the length of the chastisement 79 All that he speaks of will belong to Us, and he will come into Our presence all alone. 80 They have taken other gods apart from God that they might be a strength to them. 81 But nay! [On Judgment Day] these [very objects of adoration] will disavow the worship that was paid to them, and will turn against those [who had worshipped them]! 82
