Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
