Hizb 46

Jonah, too, was one of the Messengers. 139 When he left towards the laden ship. 140 He (agreed to) cast lots, and he was condemned: 141 Then he was swallowed by a large fish as he was worthy of blame. 142 And had he not been of those who [even in the deep darkness of their distress are able to] extol God's limitless glory, 143 he would certainly have remained inside the fish till the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ But We threw him onto the open shore while he was ill. 145 And We caused to grow, over him, a spreading plant of the gourd kind. 146 We sent him to a hundred thousand men or more, 147 And they believed, whrefore We let them enjoy life for a season. 148 Now ask them (O Muhammad): Hath thy Lord daughters whereas they have sons? 149 Or created We the angels females while they were witnesses? 150 Is it not of their own calumny that they say, 151 God hath begotten. Verily they are the liars. 152 Has He chosen daughters over sons? 153 What aileth you? How judge ye? 154 What, will you not remember? 155 Or have you clear evidence? 156 Then bring your book, if you are truthful. 157 And they assert a relationship between Him and the jinn; and certainly the jinn do know that they shall surely be brought up; 158 God is far above what they attribute to Him, 159 But not so the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 160 So, verily you (pagans) and those whom you worship (idols). 161 Can mislead anyone away from Him, 162 Save him who is to burn in hell. 163 There is not one of us but hath his known position. 164 “And indeed we, with our wings spread, await the command.” 165 we are they that give glory. 166 They say, 167 If we had but a reminder from the men of old 168 We would be single-minded slaves of Allah. 169 They therefore denied it, so they will soon come to know. 170 We decreed that Our Messenger servants 171 That they would be helped, 172 And verily Our host! they are to be overcome. 173 (Muhammad), stay away from them for a while 174 And watch, for they will (soon) see. 175 What! would they then hasten on Our chastisement? 176 When it lights in their courtyard, how evil will be the morning of them that are warned! 177 And turn away from them for some time. 178 And watch (how they fare) and they soon shall see (how thou farest)! 179 Glory be to your Lord: the Lord of Glory is far above what they attribute to Him. 180 And peace be on the apostles. 181 and praise be to God, the Lord of all the Worlds. 182
True are the words of God the Almighty.
