And indeed the Noble Messengers came to the people of Firaun. 41 Who denied Our revelations, every one. Therefore We grasped them with the grasp of the Mighty, the Powerful. 42 What then, are your unbelievers better than those? Or do you have an immunity (written) in the Scrolls? 43 Do they say, "We shall be victorious because we are united?" 44 Soon shall the hosts be routed, and they shall turn (their) backs. 45 Surely the Hour will be the moment of their promise, and that moment will be calamitous and distressing. 46 Surely the sinners are misguided and insane. 47 On the Day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire, (it will be said to them): 'Taste the touch of the Scorching' 48 Verily, all things have We created in proportion and measure. 49 And Our commandment is but one (commandment), as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And certainly We have already destroyed the likes of you, but is there anyone who will mind? 51 All that they do is noted in (their) Books (of Deeds): 52 And every small and great [thing] is inscribed. 53 Surely those who fear God and follow the straight path will be amidst gardens and light, 54 where they will be honourably seated in the presence of a King, Mighty in Power. 55
