The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
