Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Did you see him who gives the lie to the Reward and Punishment of the Hereafter? 1 Such is the one who repulses the orphans away, 2 And encourages not the feeding of the indigent. 3 Woe, then, unto those praying ones 4 but are heedless in their Prayers, 5 Those who do things only to be seen by others. 6 And who withholds even common necessaries. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
