Did you not see that We sent devils upon the disbelievers, so they excite them abundantly? 83 Hence, be not in haste [to call down God's punishment] upon them: for We but number the number of their days. 84 The day We shall gather the righteous to (Allah) Most Gracious, like a band presented before a king for honours, 85 And drive the guilty towards hell, thirsty. 86 None will have power to intercede for them except one who obtains a promise from Ar-Rahman. 87 They say, "The Gracious One has begotten a son." 88 You have indeed advanced something hideous! 89 Thereby the heavens are nearly torn and the earth split asunder, and mountains fall crashing down 90 That they ascribe a son (or offspring or children) to the Most Beneficent (Allah). 91 And it behoveth not the Compassionate that he should take a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but will come to the Beneficent Allah as a servant. 93 Assuredly He hath comprehended them and counted them a full counting. 94 And each one of them will come before Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 Lo! those who believe and do good works, the Beneficent will appoint for them love. 96 So, [O Muhammad], We have only made Qur'an easy in the Arabic language that you may give good tidings thereby to the righteous and warn thereby a hostile people. 97 for, how many a generation have We destroyed before their time - [and] canst thou perceive any one of them [now,] or hear any whisper of them? 98
