Pilgrimage (Al-Hajj)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Mankind! fear your Lord; verily the quake of the Hour shall be a thing mighty. 1 On the day when you will witness it, every nursing mother will forget her nurseling and every pregnant one will discharge her burden, and you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) will see people as if they are drunk, whereas they will not be intoxicated, but the fact is that Allah’s punishment is very severe. 2 Some people argue about God without knowledge and follow every rebellious devil. 3 it has been decreed concerning anyone whom he befriends, that he shall mislead him and guide him to the punishment of the Fire. 4 O mankind! if ye have a doubt about the Resurrection, (consider) that We created you out of dust, then out of sperm, then out of a leech-like clot, then out of a morsel of flesh, partly formed and partly unformed, in order that We may manifest (our power) to you; and We cause whom We will to rest in the wombs for an appointed term, then do We bring you out as babes, then (foster you) that ye may reach your age of full strength; and some of you are called to die, and some are sent back to the feeblest old age, so that they know nothing after having known (much), and (further), thou seest the earth barren and lifeless, but when We pour down rain on it, it is stirred (to life), it swells, and it puts forth every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs). 5 That is because Allah is the Truth; He revives the dead and has power over all things. 6 And the Hour is sure to come there is no doubt. And Allah will raise up those in the graves. 7 Some people argue about God without knowledge, guidance, and an enlightening Book. 8 Turning away haughtily that he may lead (others) astray from the way of Allah; for him is disgrace in this world, and on the day of resurrection We will make him taste the punishment of burning: 9 That is the outcome of what your own hands have wrought, for Allah never wrongs His creatures. 10
