When Your Lord told Moses to go to the unjust people of the Pharaoh 10 "The people of the Pharaoh: will they not fear Allah?" 11 He said, “My Lord, I fear that they will deny me.” 12 And that my breast will tighten and my tongue will not be fluent, so send for Aaron. 13 "And they have a charge of crime against me, and I fear they will kill me." 14 He said, “Not like this (any more); both of you go with Our signs, We are with you, All Hearing.” 15 Go to Pharaoh and say, 'We are the messengers of the Lord of the worlds, 16 That you should send the children of Israel with us.' 17 He (Pharaoh) said (to Moses): 'Did We not bring you up when you were a child? And have you not spent years of your life amongst us? 18 And you commited what you did, and you are ungrateful!" 19 He said: I did it then when I was mistaken. 20 Then I fled from you when I feared you, and my Lord bestowed on me wisdom and made me one of the sent ones. 21 And this is the past favour wherewith thou reproachest me: that thou hast enslaved the Children of Israel. 22 Fir'awn said: and what is the Lord of the worlds? 23 He said, 'The Lord of the heavens and earth, and what between them is, if you have faith.' 24 Pharaoh said to those around him, "Did you hear?" 25 (Moses continued): "Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers before you." 26 Pharaoh said to the audience: "This Messenger of yours who has been sent to you is simply mad." 27 [But Moses] went on: "[He of whom I speak is] the Sustainer of the east and the west and of all that is between the two - as you would know]" if you would but use your reason!" 28 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "If you choose an ilah (god) other than me, I will certainly put you among the prisoners." 29 [Moses] said, "Even if I brought you proof manifest?" 30 (Pharaoh) said: Produce it then, if thou art of the truthful! 31 So (Moses) threw his rod, and behold, it was a serpent, plain (for all to see)! 32 And he drew forth his hand, thereupon it shone bright before the beholders. 33
