Al-Qaare'ah

The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 How awesome the sudden calamity! 2 What shall Make thee know that which the Striking is? 3 On that Day people shall become like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will become as carded wool. 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise). 7 And as for him whose balances are light, 8 Will have the Abyss for abode. 9 What shall let you know what the Plunging is? 10 It is the scorching fire. 11
