The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the Event will come to pass 1 and there can be no denying its happening, 2 some shall be abased and others exalted. 3 When the earth will tremble, shivering. 4 And the mountains shall be crumbled to atoms, 5 And become dust dispersing. 6 You will become three categories: 7 So those on the Right Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Records in their right hands), Who will be those on the Right Hand? (As a respect for them, because they will enter Paradise). 8 Companions of the Left (O Companions of the Left!) 9 And the preceders are the preceders. 10 those are they brought near (to their Lord) 11 They are in Gardens of peace. 12 A number of people from those of old, 13 And a few of the later peoples, 14 on lavish couches 15 they shall recline, facing each other, 16 Immortal youths will serve them 17 with goblets, and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 No headache will they have therefrom, nor will they be intoxicated - 19 And fruits such as they choose, 20 And with flesh of fowls from that which they desire. 21 and there shall be wide-eyed maidens, 22 The likenesses of pearls well-protected, 23 [And this will be] a reward for what they did [in life]. 24 They will not hear therein ill speech or commission of sin - 25 Except the saying, “Peace, peace.” 26 The companions of the right - what are the companions of the right? 27 Among thornless lote-trees 28 and acacias flower-clad, 29 In shade long-extended, 30 Gushing water, 31 and fruits in abundance, 32 Neither out of reach nor yet forbidden, 33 And [with them will be their] spouses, raised high: 34 We have created (their Companions) of special creation. 35 And made them virgins. 36 full of love, well-matched 37 for the people of the right hand 38

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
