What! Are ye the more difficult to create or the heaven (above)? (Allah) hath constructed it: 27 Raised it high, proportioned it, 28 Gave darkness to its night, and brightness to its day; 29 And after it spread out the earth. 30 produced water and grass therefrom, 31 And the mountains! He established them firm: 32 an enjoyment for you and your herds. 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 The Day when man shall remember what he strove for, 35 and Hell will be brought in sight for anyone to see: 36 So as for he who transgressed 37 And prefers the life of this world, 38 hell will be their dwelling. 39 And for one who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from desire, 40 paradise will truly be the goal! 41 They ask thee of the Hour: when will it come to port? 42 [But] how couldst thou tell anything about it, 43 Unto thy Lord is the final end of it. 44 Thou art but [sent] to warn those who stand in awe of it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, it will be as if they had lingered but an evening, or, a morning. 46
