The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
The event that terrifies the hearts! 1 What is the crash? 2 Would that you knew what the Clatterer is! 3 [It is] a Day when mankind shall be like scattered moths 4 and the mountains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Then, he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) heavy, 6 will have a most pleasing life. 7 But he whose deeds are lighter in the balance 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 Would that you knew what hawiya his? 10 A blazing Fire! 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
