Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Elephant (Al-Feel) before People (Al-Naas)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

(Muhammad), say, "I seek protection from the Lord of the Dawn 1 From the evil of that which He created 2 I seek His protection against the evil of the invading darkness, 3 from the evil of the women who blow on knots; 4 “And from the evil of the envier when he is envious of me.” 5

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
