Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24

Certainly We sent Nuh to his people, so he said: O my people! serve Allah, you have no god other than Him; surely I fear for you the chastisement of a grievous day. 59 but the leading men of his people said, "Truly, we see that you are obviously lost in error!" 60 He said: O my people! not with me is the error, but I am an apostle from the Lord of the worlds. 61 I convey to you the messages of my Lord and advise you; and I know from Allah what you do not know. 62 "Do ye wonder that there hath come to you a message from your Lord, through a man of your own people, to warn you,- so that ye may fear Allah and haply receive His Mercy?" 63 They accused him of telling lies. So We saved him and his companions in an ark and drowned those who called Our revelations mere lies. They were, no doubt, a blind people. 64
