The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By oath of those who establish proper ranks. 1 and restraining [from evil] by a call to restraint, 2 Then those who recite, being mindful, 3 Verily, verily, your Allah is one!- 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth, and all that is between them, and Lord of every point of the sun's risings. (None has the right to be worshipped but Allah). 5 Verily! We have adorned the near heaven with the stars (for beauty). 6 and to preserve against every rebel Satan; 7 They cannot listen to the exalted assembly and they are thrown at from every side, 8 cast out [from all grace,] with lasting suffering in store for them [in the life to come]; 9 And if any is able to snatch a fragment, he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 Then ask them (i.e. these polytheists, O Muhammad SAW): "Are they stronger as creation, or those (others like the heavens and the earth and the mountains, etc.) whom We have created?" Verily, We created them of a sticky clay. 11 Nay, but whereas thou dost marvel, they [only] scoff; 12 And heed not when they are reminded, 13 When they are shown a sign, they scoff at it 14 and say: “This is nothing but plain sorcery. 15 When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then, forsooth, be raised (again)? 16 And our fathers too?" 17 Say (O Muhammad): Ye, in truth; and ye will be brought low. 18 It will be only one shout, and at once they will be observing. 19 They will say, "O woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense." 20 (A voice will say,) "This is the Day of Sorting Out, whose truth ye (once) denied!" 21
