Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the winds that scatter the dust, 1 then the bearers of weight (the clouds), 2 and the smooth runners 3 And those who distribute (it) by command, 4 Indeed, what you are promised is true. 5 And lo! the judgment will indeed befall. 6 And by oath of the decorated heaven. 7 Verily ye are in a divided opinion. 8 From which only he turns who is turned away. 9 Death to those whose opinions are merely baseless conjectures. 10 Who are lost in deception. 11 They ask, “When will be the Day of Judgement?” 12 It will be the Day whereon in the Fire they will be burned 13 "Taste your trial. This is what you sought to hasten." 14 As for the God-fearing, they shall be in the midst of gardens and fountains, 15 receiving their reward from their Lord. They had been righteous people before the Day of Judgment. 16 They used to sleep but little in the night. 17 And in the dawns they prayed for forgiveness. 18 and sharing their possessions with the beggars and the deprived. 19 And in the earth are signs for those who are certain. 20 And in yourselves. Then will you not see? 21 And in heaven is your provision and also what you are being promised. 22 By the Lord of the heaven and the earth, it is certainly the truth. It is as true as your ability to speak. 23
