But what is the matter with the unbelievers, that they strain their glances continuously towards them, 36 [coming upon thee] from the right and from the left, in crowds? 37 Does every one of them wish to enter the garden of tranquility? 38 Never! We have indeed created them from a thing they know. 39 I swear by the Lord of the easts and the wests that We have the power 40 to replace them by a better people and none can challenge Our power. 41 Wherefore let thou them alone plunging in vanity and sporting until they meet their Day which they are promised. 42 The day when they will come out of their graves in all haste as though rushing to their altars, 43 With lowered eyes, disgrace overcoming them; this is the day, which they had been promised. 44
