Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ WHEN THE SKY is split asunder, 1 the stars are dispersed, 2 and when the seas burst beyond their bounds, 3 when the tombs are overthrown, 4 Every soul will come to know what it has sent ahead and what it left behind. 5 O man, what seduced you from your munificent Lord 6 Who created thee, then moulded thee, then proportioned thee? 7 He moulded you into whatever shape He willed. 8 Even then you deny the Judgement. 9 But verily over you (are appointed angels) to protect you,- 10 noble, writers 11 Knowing all what you may do. 12 Most surely the righteous are in bliss, 13 And lo! the wicked verily will be in hell; 14 They will burn in it on the Day of Judgement, 15 And never therefrom will they be absent. 16 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Again, what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 18 A day when no soul shall possess aught to succour another soul; that day the Command shall belong unto God. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
