The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
The Clatterer! 1 What is the striking (Hour)? 2 And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? 3 On that day, people will be like scattered moths 4 and the mountains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Then he whose scales weigh heavier 6 Will have a tranquil life; 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit. 9 And what shall teach thee what is the Pit? 10 It is the scorching fire. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
