Say: 'O my Lord, if Thou shouldst show me that they are promised, 93 do not, O my Sustainer, let me be one of those evildoing folk!" 94 And indeed We are Able to show you (O Muhammad SAW) that with which We have threatened them. 95 Respond to the injustice (done to you) with the better deed. We know best what they attribute to God. 96 And say: "O my Sustainer! I seek refuge with Thee from the promptings of all evil impulses; 97 And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me." 98 Until when death overtakes one of them, he says: Send me back, my Lord, send me back; 99 haply I shall do righteousness in that I forsook.' Nay, it is but a word he speaks; and there; behind them, is a barrier until the day that they shall be raised up. 100 And when the Horn is blown, on that Day their ties of kindred shall be no more, nor will they ask each other. 101 Only those whose scales are heavier in the balance will find happiness. 102 But those whose balance is light, will be those who have lost their souls, in Hell will they abide. 103 The fire will scorch their faces and they will be groaning therein in pain. 104 "Were not My Verses (this Quran) recited to you, and then you used to deny them?" 105 They will say, “Our Lord! Our ill-fate overcame us, and we were the astray people.” 106 O our Lord! Take us out of it; then if we return (to evil) surely we shall be unjust. 107 Allah will say, “Remain rebuked in it, and do not speak to Me.” 108 Verily there was a party of My bondmen who said: our Lord! we have believed, wherefore forgive us and have mercy upon us, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones! 109 But you took them for a laughingstock, so much so that they made you forget My Remembrance while you used to laugh at them! 110 Today I shall recompense them for their patience, for it is they that have won. 111 [And] He will ask [the doomed]: "What number of years have you spent on earth?" 112 They will say: "A day or less than a day. Ask the enumerators of numbers." 113 He will say: "You stayed there only a moment, if you knew. 114 Did you think that We had created you only for play, and that you would never be returned to Us' 115 Then, exalted be God, the true King, there is no deity except Him, the Lord of the Glorious Throne. 116 And whoever invokes with Allah another god-- he has no proof of this-- his reckoning is only with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not be successful. 117 Say, "Lord, forgive us and have mercy. You are the best of those who show mercy." 118
