Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the morning brightness 1 And [by] the night when it covers with darkness, 2 Your Lord (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) has neither forsaken you nor hated you. 3 And indeed the Hereafter is better for you than the present (life of this world). 4 And indeed, in time will thy Sustainer grant thee [what thy heart desires,] and thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you orphaned and shelter you? 6 And He found thee wandering, and He gave thee guidance. 7 And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient. 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with harshness, 9 And repulse not the beggar; 10 and of thy Sustainer's blessings shalt thou [ever] speak. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
