What aileth those who disbelieve, that they keep staring toward thee (O Muhammad), open-eyed, 36 On the right and on the left, in companies? 37 Does every one of them wish to enter the garden of tranquility? 38 No, that is not like that! Verily, We have created them out of that which they know! 39 So I swear by the Lord of [all] risings and settings that indeed We are able 40 Substitute for them better (men) than they; And We are not to be defeated (in Our Plan). 41 Therefore leave them alone to go on with the false discourses and to sport until they come face to face with that day of theirs with which they are threatened; 42 the day they shall come forth from the tombs hastily, as if they were hurrying unto a waymark, 43 with their eyes cast down and covered by disgrace; the day about which they were promised. 44
