The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the chargers panting, 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
