The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin, Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 (O Muhammad), you will perhaps grieve yourself to death because these people do not believe. 3 If We please, We should send down upon them a sign from the heaven so that their necks should stoop to it. 4 But there comes not to them a newly-revealed Message from (Allah) Most Gracious, but they turn away therefrom. 5 So, they belied, but surely the tidings of that they mocked will come to them. 6 Have they, then, never considered the earth - how much of every noble kind [of life] We have caused to grow thereon? 7 Verily there are signs in this; yet many of them do not believe. 8 And verily, thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 9
