And remember Our slave Ayub (Job), when he invoked his Lord (saying): "Verily! Shaitan (Satan) has touched me with distress (by losing my health) and torment (by losing my wealth)! 41 (And it was said unto him): Strike the ground with thy foot. This (spring) is a cool bath and a refreshing drink. 42 And We bestowed his household to him and one more similar to it – as a mercy from Us, and as a remembrance for the people of intellect. 43 "Take a handful of herbs," (We said to him), and apply and rub them, and do not make a mistake." We found him patient in adversity, an excellent devotee, always turning in repentance. 44 And make mention of Our bondmen, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, men of parts and vision. 45 We distinguished them for the distinct remembrance of the abode (of the Hereafter). 46 They are the chosen ones, the excellent in Our sight. 47 And commemorate Isma'il, Elisha, and Zul-Kifl: Each of them was of the Company of the Good. 48 This is an advice; and indeed for the pious is an excellent abode. 49 Gardens of perpetual residence, whose doors will be opened to them. 50 Therein they will recline; therein they will call for fruits in abundance and drinks; 51 ۞ And beside them will be chaste women restraining their glances, (companions) of equal age. 52 All this is what you are promised for the Day of Judgement. 53 (It will be said to them)! Verily, this is Our Provision which will never finish; 54 This (for the virtuous); but for the transgressors the evil destination, 55 Hell, where they will burn, an evil resting-place. 56 This - let them taste it: scalding water and corruption. 57 And other Penalties of a similar kind, to match them! 58 Here is a multitude rushing headlong with you. There is no welcome for them. They will roast in the fire. 59 They will say to them, "You are not welcome! It was you who brought this on us, an evil place to stay," 60 They will say, "Our Lord, whoever brought this upon us - increase for him double punishment in the Fire." 61 They say, 'How is it with us, that we do not see men here that we counted among the wicked? 62 Was it that we (only) took them in scorn, or have our eyes (now) turned aside from them? 63 That most surely is the truth: the contending one with another of the inmates of the fire. 64
