Say, [Prophet], "I am only a warner. There is no god but God, the One, the All-Powerful, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver." 66 Say: 'This is a mighty message 67 To which you pay no heed. 68 I had no knowledge of the higher Assembly when they discussed it among themselves. 69 I have only received revelation to give you plain warning. 70 Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: "I am about to create man from clay: 71 And when I have fashioned him and breathed into him of My Spirit, then fall down before him prostrate, 72 Thereupon the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together, 73 Except Iblis; he was proud and was, from the beginning, a disbeliever. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both My Hands. Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one of the high exalted?" 75 He (satan) replied: 'I am better than he. You created me from fire, and You created him from clay' 76 [Allah] said, "Then get out of Paradise, for indeed, you are expelled. 77 Upon thee shall rest My curse, till the Day of Doom.' 78 He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected." 79 [Allah] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved 80 Till the appointed day." 81 (Iblis) said: “By Your glory, I shall mislead them all 82 except those among them who are Your sincere worshipers' 83 Allah said: the truth is, and it is the truth that I speak 84 "That I will certainly fill Hell with thee and those that follow thee,- every one." 85 (Muhammad), say, "I do not ask any reward for my preaching to you for I am not a pretender. 86 It is nothing but a reminder to the nations; 87 "And you shall certainly know the truth of it after a while. 88
