Do you think that it is harder to create you or the heavens? Allah has created it. 27 He hath raised the height thereof and perfected it. 28 And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness. 29 and the earth which He spread out, 30 and then brought from it its water and pastures. 31 And the mountains! He established them firm: 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 So when the greatest universal disaster arrives, 34 The Day when man shall remember what he strove for, 35 and the blazing fire [of hell] will be laid open before all who [are destined to] see it. 36 Then he who had been rebellious 37 and preferred the life of this world, 38 will find himself in Hell; 39 However, those who had feared their Lord and restrained their souls from acting according to its desires. 40 shall dwell in Paradise. 41 They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival? 42 what have you to do with the mentioning of it? 43 The extent of its knowledge goes to your Lord. 44 You are but a Herald of Warning, for one who fears it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, it will be as if they had lingered but an evening, or, a morning. 46
