Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

The excessive gathering (of increase and boasting) occupied you (from worshipping and obeying) 1 till you reached the grave. 2 No! You are going to know. 3 Again, no indeed; but soon you shall know. 4 No indeed; did you know with the knowledge of certainty, 5 You have indeed to behold Hell; 6 Then you shall most certainly see it with the eye of certainty; 7 Then on that day you will surely be asked about the verity of pleasures. 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
