VERILY, those who are conscious of God [shall find themselves in the hereafter] amidst gardens and springs, 45 "(It will be said to them): 'Enter therein (Paradise), in peace and security.' 46 And We will root out whatever of rancor is in their breasts-- (they shall be) as brethren, on raised couches, face to face. 47 No fatigue will touch them therein, nor from it will they [ever] be removed. 48 ۞ Announce, (O Muhammad) unto My slaves that verily I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, 49 And that indeed the punishment of Mine is a painful punishment. 50 And tell them of Abraham's guests, 51 When the angels came to him and said, “Peace"; he said, “We feel afraid of you.” 52 They (the angels) said: "Do not be afraid! We give you glad tidings of a boy (son) possessing much knowledge and wisdom." 53 He said: bear ye me glad tidings when old age hath touched me? of what then ye bear me glad tidings? 54 They said: "The good tiding we give you is of truth. Do not, therefore, be of those who despair." 55 "Who would despair of the mercy of his Lord," he answered, "but those who go astray." 56 He asked: 'Messengers, what is your errand' 57 They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals, 58 Except Lut's followers: We will most surely deliver them all, 59 all together, excepting his wife -- we have decreed, she shall surely be of those that tarry.' 60
