In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
The (unprecedented) crash! 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 [It will occur] on the Day when men will be like moths swarming in confusion, 4 and the mountains like tufts of carded wool. 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 He will be in a pleasant life. 7 but he whose weight is light in the Scale, 8 his head will be in the Plunging 9 And what have you understood, what the one that abases is! 10 A fire hotly burning! 11
