[Allah said], "O messengers, eat from the good foods and work righteousness. Indeed, I, of what you do, am Knowing. 51 And verily! This your religion (of Islamic Monotheism) is one religion, and I am your Lord, so keep your duty to Me. 52 But they cut off their religion among themselves into sects, each part rejoicing in that which is with them. 53 But leave them in their confused ignorance for a time. 54 Do they think that by what We aid them with of wealth and children, 55 We are hastening them on to good things? Aye! they perceive not. 56 Indeed, they who are apprehensive from fear of their Lord 57 And those who believe in the communications of their Lord, 58 And those who do not associate (aught) with their Lord, 59 who spend their property for the cause of God, and whose hearts are afraid of their return 60 those, hasten in good works, outracing to them. 61 On no soul do We place a burden greater than it can bear: before Us is a record which clearly shows the truth: they will never be wronged. 62 Nay, but their hearts are in ignorance of this (Qur'an), and they have other works, besides, which they are doing; 63 To the extent that when We seized the wealthy among them with punishment, they immediately began imploring. 64 We shall tell them, "Do not cry for help on this day; you will receive none from Us". 65 My revelations were recited unto you, but ye used to turn back on your heels, 66 in arrogance, as if you were abandoning a story-teller. 67 Why did they not think over the message? Or has something come to them which had not come to their fathers? 68 Or did they not know their Messenger, so they are toward him disacknowledging? 69 Or say they: "There is madness in him?" Nay, but he brought them the truth [i.e. "(A) Tauhid: Worshipping Allah Alone in all aspects (B) The Quran (C) The religion of Islam,"] but most of them (the disbelievers) are averse to the truth. 70 Had the truth followed their desires, the heavens and the earth and all that is in them would have been destroyed. We sent them the Quran but they ignored it. 71 Do you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) ask any fee from them? So the reward of your Lord is the best; and He is the Best Provider of Sustenance. 72 And verily, thou callest them onto a straight way 73 And verily those who believe not in the Hereafter are deviating from that Way. 74 ۞ Were We to be merciful to them and remove from them their present afflictions, they would persist in their transgression, blindly wandering on. 75 And indeed We seized them with punishment, but they humbled not themselves to their Lord, nor did they invoke (Allah) with submission to Him. 76 Until We open on them a gate leading to a severe Punishment: then Lo! they will be plunged in despair therein! 77
