The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ When there happeneth the Event. 1 There is no denying that it will befall - 2 It will abase some and exalt others. 3 When the earth is shaken up convulsively, 4 and the mountains are totally shattered and crumble to pieces 5 So that they shall be as scattered dust. 6 you shall be divided into three parties, 7 Those of the right hand -- how (happy) will be those of the right hand! 8 Companions of the Left (O Companions of the Left!) 9 And the preceders are the preceders. 10 those are they brought near (to their Lord) 11 They are in Gardens of peace. 12 A number of people from those of old, 13 And a few of the later peoples, 14 upon close-wrought couches 15 Reclining on them, facing one another. 16 There wait on them immortal youths 17 With vessels, pitchers and a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring - 18 which will not cause them any intoxication or illness. 19 and with fruit of any kind that they may choose, 20 And the flesh of fowl such as they desire. 21 And gorgeous eyed fair maidens. 22 The likes unto pearls hidden. 23 a recompense for all that they did. 24 They will not hear any useless speech in it, or any sin. 25 except each other's greetings of, "Peace be with you". 26 And those on the Right Hand, Who will be those on the Right Hand? 27 [They, too, will find themselves] amidst fruit laden lote-trees, 28 and clustered bananas, 29 And shade extended 30 and gushing water, 31 and fruits in abundance, 32 Neither out of reach nor yet forbidden, 33 And on couches or thrones, raised high. 34 Verily We! We have created those maidens by a creation. 35 And made them virginal, 36 chaste, loving companions of the same age 37 For those on the Right Hand. 38

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
