a large group of the earlier people 39 And a numerous company from among the last. 40 The Companions of the Left Hand,- what will be the Companions of the Left Hand? 41 mid burning winds and boiling waters 42 And the shade of black smoke. 43 (That shadow) neither cool, nor (even) good, 44 They were endowed with good things 45 And they have been persisting in the heinous offence. 46 ever saying, 'What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we indeed be raised up? 47 "(We) and our fathers of old?" 48 Say, "Indeed, the earlier ones and the later ones 49 Are to be gathered together for the appointment of a known Day." 50 Then lo! ye, the erring, the deniers, 51 shall eat the fruit of the tree of Zaqqum, 52 filling your bellies with it; 53 and thereupon you shall drink boiling water, 54 "So you will drink (that) like thirsty camels!" 55 That is their accommodation on the Day of Recompense. 56 We have created you, so why do you not believe? 57 Just consider (the semen) that you emit, 58 Is it you who create it (i.e. make this semen into a perfect human being), or are We the Creator? 59 We have incorporated death in your constitution, and We shall not be hindered 60 in replacing you with another creation like you, changing you into a form which you do not know. 61 You have certainly known the first creation. Why, then, do you not take heed? 62 See ye the seed that ye sow in the ground? 63 Cause it ye to grow, or are We the Grower? 64 If We so pleased, We could turn your harvest into chaff. Then you would start lamenting, 65 crying, "We have been left to suffer loss. 66 nay, we have been robbed!' 67 Consider the water that you drink. 68 Is it ye who shed it from the raincloud, or are We the Shedder? 69 Did We will, We would make it bitter; so why are you not thankful? 70 Have you seen the fire which you kindle? 71 Is it you who have produced its tree or is it We who have produced it? 72 It is We who have made it as a reminder and a means of comfort for the people. 73 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 74

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
