۞ So I call the placement of the stars to witness -- 75 and, behold, this is indeed a most solemn affirmation, if you but knew it! 76 That this is indeed the glorious Qur'an 77 In a Register well-protected; 78 which none shall touch except the purified; 79 It has been revealed by the Lord of all the worlds. 80 How can you regard this discourse with disdain? 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, – 83 and that hour you are watching 84 But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 209] 85 Then why is it not-- if you are not held under authority-- 86 Do ye not force it back, if ye are truthful? 87 Then if the dying one is of those having proximity, – 88 Then is relief, and flowers – and Gardens of peace. 89 If it is of the people of the right hand, 90 it will be with the people of the right hand, living in peace and security. 91 But if one happens to be of those who are wont to call the truth a lie, and [thus] go astray, 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 96
