The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
46 verses, revealed in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the pluckers (the angels of death), violently plucking (the souls of the unbelievers), 1 By those who gently draw out (the souls of the blessed); 2 and by [the clouds] that swim serenely and 3 by the angels who hasten along 4 And who plan the implementation. 5 On the day when the trembling one will tremble. (The disbelievers will certainly taste the punishment.) 6 And there will follow it the next blast. 7 Hearts on that day shall palpitate, 8 Their eyes cast down. 9 They say (now): "What! shall we indeed be returned to (our) former state? 10 even though we may have become [a heap of] crumbling bones?" 11 They said, “So this return is an obvious loss!” 12 But it shall be only a single scare, 13 and lo, they will all be in the open plain. 14 Has the story of Moses come to you 15 When his Lord called to him in Tuwa's holy vale? 16 saying 'Go to Pharaoh, he has become exceedingly insolent, 17 and say, 'Will you reform yourself? 18 Then I will guide you to your Lord that you may come to fear Him.'" 19 Then [Musa (Moses)] showed him the great sign (miracles). 20 But he rejected (the truth) and disobeyed. 21 He then turned away, striving in his effort. 22 Then he gathered and cried aloud, 23 and said, "I am your Lord All-Highest!" 24 but God seized him and meted out to him the chastisement of both the next world and the present: 25 Truly there is a lesson in this for those who fear (the consequences). 26

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
