The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

The Striking Calamity - 1 What is the event that terrifies the hearts? 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 It is a Day whereon mankind will be like moths scattered about, 4 And the mountains shall become as wool carded, 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Scale 6 He will be in a pleasant life. 7 And as for him whose measure of good deeds is light, 8 He is in the lap of one that abases. 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 A Fire vehemently hot! 11
