Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Perish the two hands of Abu Lahab, and perish he! 1 Of no avail shall be his wealth, nor what he has acquired. 2 Burnt soon will he be in a Fire of Blazing Flame! 3 And his wife, the portress of fire wood, 4 On her neck shall be a cord of twisted fibre. 5

Almighty God's Truth.
