The food of the Zakkum tree 43 shall be the food of the guilty sinners. 44 It is like pitch. It will fume in the belly 45 As the seething of boiling water. 46 (It will be said of such sinners), "Seize them and drag them into the middle of hell. 47 Then pour upon his head the torment of boiling water. 48 (Saying): 'Taste, surely you are the mighty and noble! 49 Verily this is that whereof ye were wont to doubt. 50 [As against this] verily, the God-conscious will find themselves in a state secure, 51 Among Gardens and Springs; 52 dressed in silks and brocade, set face to face. 53 Thus shall it be. And We shall pair them with companions pure, most beautiful of eye. 54 They call therein for every fruit in safety. 55 They will not taste death therein, save the first death. God will save them from the torment of Hell 56 an act of thy Sustainer's favour: and that, that will be the triumph supreme! 57 We have made this Quran easy to understand, in your own language, so that they may take heed. 58 Wait then; they too are waiting. 59
