Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 by the dawn-raiders 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
