The Poets (Alshu'araa')

227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

۞ Ta, Seen, Meem. 1 These are verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 Possibly you may risk your life (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) by grieving, because they did not believe. 3 If We please, We should send down upon them a sign from the heaven so that their necks should stoop to it. 4 Never cometh there unto them a fresh reminder from the Beneficent One, but they turn away from it. 5 Now they have denied (the Truth); but there will come unto them tidings of that whereat they used to scoff. 6 Have they not seen the earth, that how many honourable pairs We have created in it? 7 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them will not accept faith. 8 And indeed your Lord – indeed only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9
